Zu meiner größten Freude, durfte ich gestern Abend das Balzverhalten 2er Igel beobachten, filmen und fotografieren. Ach wie schön, wenn die Natur uns manchmal seine Geheimnisse offenbart! Ich kann solches natürlich dann auch sehr genießen. Leider kam es nicht bis zur Kopulation. Die Umwerbung bis zur Kopulation kann angeblich mehrere Nächte dauern und Untersuchungen haben ergeben, dass weniger als 10 Prozent der Umwerbung in einer Kopulation endet. Ich lag dort im Gestrüpp mit Käfern und Spinnen die auf mich herumkrabbelten. Sie wurden durch das Licht angezogen und nachdem ja die fetten Zecken auf den Igeln nicht zu übersehen waren, fühlte ich mich irgendwann nicht mehr ganz wohl dort im Gestrüpp. Ruckartige Bewegungen damit ich das krabbelnde Geziefer loswerden kann, konnte ich natürlich nicht machen aus Angst die Igel damit zu verscheuchen. Die Igel haben sich vom Licht nicht stören lassen und zeitweise kamen sie mir zu nahe an der Kamera und musste ich meine Hand etwas zurück ziehen. Daher ließ ich sie dann doch lieber in Ruhe mit der Hoffnung bald Kleine zur Gesicht zu bekommen.
Männchen erwachen vor den Weibchen aus dem Winterschlaf. Sie beginnen sofort nach dem Erwachen mit der Nahrungsaufnahme, um an Gewicht zuzulegen. Etwa 3 bis 4 Wochen nach den Männchen tauchen die Weibchen aus dem Winterschlaf auf. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt erweitern die Männchen ihr Streifrevier auf der Suche nach einer potentiellen Partnerin. Daher konnte ich mittlerweile erkennen, dass der etwas dickere Igel das Männchen war und das ständig schnaubende Igel das Weibchen. Wenn sich ein Männchen einem Weibchen nähert, reagiert dieses meist sehr aggressiv wie ersichtlich in meinen Aufnahmen. Dies drückt sich durch Senken des Kopfes und lautes Schnauben aus.Schön zu beobachten war, wie das Männchen immer wieder sein Köpfchen vor Demut senkte. Das Männchen umkreist das Weibchen und stößt dabei hochfrequentierte Töne aus. Zwischendurch versucht das Männchen immer wieder aufzureiten. Dies gelingt jedoch nur selten. Nur wenn das Weibchen ein Männchen akzeptiert, gelingt die Kopulation, die für Säuger in der typischen Aufreitposition erfolgt. Das Weibchen legt ihre Stachel flach an den Körper und den Bauch auf den Boden, um dem Männchen das Eindringen zu erleichtern. Während des Aufreitens hält sich das Männchen mit den Zähnen an den Stacheln des Weibchens im Schulterbereich fest.

On Thursday August 7th at 9:00 p.m. local time at least 100,000,000 people, from every corner of earth, will light candles in hundreds of planned candle-lit vigils, with their friends or at their homes. They will call for freedom in Tibet. (All details can be founds at CFT's press room)
SSM&S will send on the day following CFT 's candle action hundreds of mountain climbers and volunteers to ignite red smoke flares on Skyscrapers roofs in NY, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and other major cities around the world, and on over 100 mountain tops in 3 continents. The smoke ignition will coincide with the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Beijing.
The SadSmokyMountains will smoke together, in togetherness with City skyscrapers so as to re-establish a necessary alliance between man and environment, between man and the other self, between man and those similar to him. Monuments like volcanoes previously at rest, awakened by the Earths’ pain. These monuments will return to what they originally were meant to represent: a monition (from Latin monumentum), a warning to those who have forgotten what hides behind ancient architectures. We shall make these monuments talk the language of smoke, “the evanescent color of blood”, on the day on which the olympic torch, a double-headed symbol of peace and hypocrisy, will light the Peking Olympics. At exactly sixty years from the drafting of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights the repression of Tibet during an event of world-wide interest has become the symbol of failure and betrayal on behalf of international governments: the principles then ratified have been and are still, more or less diplomatically, denied.

What is a LIGHT PROTEST?
A light protest is similar to a normal protest (the kind you hear about in the news or in the papers) but with several main differences:
A light protest unites millions of people around the world.
A light protest invites people to take a simple act on a specific moment in time, for a single goal.
A light protest is a new global medium which enhances the power of one person to make a stand.
A light protest will always fight for a noble cause, such as human rights, freedom of choice, thought, belief and so on.
A light protest is non-profit, and non-violent!
Remember, that a light protest depends on each and every one of us making our stand on the same day, and inviting other people & friends to join.
It's as simple as that and very effective!

Millionen von Menschen werden ihr Licht zum größten Licht-Protest der Welt vereinigen
Der größte Licht-Protest der Welt wird am 7. August stattfinden – einen Tag vor der Eröffnung der Olympischen Spiele in Peking. Millionen Menschen auf der ganzen Welt werden eine Kerze entzünden und JA zu Freiheit in Tibet sagen.
Bis heute haben sich über 512.240 Menschen aus über 100 Ländern weltweit auf der Seite von „Candle for Tibet“ registriert. Seien sie dabei und registrieren sie sich noch heute - dazu nur auf dem Link klicken:
„Candle for Tibet“ ruft die Menschen auf, am 7.August 2008 um 21.00 Uhr (Ortszeit) Kerzen zu entzünden und in Fenstern, auf Schreibtischen oder wo auch immer aufzustellen, wo andere Menschen sie sehen und ihrem Beispiel folgen können. Viele Menschen werden an öffentlichen Mahnwachen auf der ganzen Welt teilnehmen. Es wird erwartet, dass der Licht-Protest auf den Fernsehschirmen weltweit zu sehen sein wird. Am Tag der Eröffnungsfeierlichkeiten der Olympischen Spiele in Peking (auch im Stadion). Den Tag diesem weltweiten Ereignis, werden Briefe an alle Staatschefs der Welt verschickt, die ihnen mitteilen, wie viele Menschen des jeweiligen Landes wollen, dass Tibet Freiheit erlangt, und wünschen, dass sich die Politiker ebenfalls für diese Freiheit einsetzen.
Die Traurigen Rauchenden Berge werden gemeinsam mit den Hochhäusern der Städte rauchen, um eine notwendige Allianz zwischen dem Menschen und der Natur, zwischen dem Menschen und seiner Umwelt, zwischen dem Menschen und seinen Mitmenschen wiederherzustellen. Die Monumente werden wie seit langem eingeschlafeneund vom Weltschmerz wieder ins Leben gerufene Vulkane erneut ihre antike Funktion deutlich machen: als Denkzettel (vom Latein monumentum) zu dienen , als Verwarnung an diejenigen, die vergessen haben, was man unter ihren Baukünsten beherbergt. Wir werden sie am Tag, an dem die olympische Fackel, zweideutiges Symbol des Friedens und der Scheinheiligkeit, die Olympischen Spiele in Peking einweihen wird, mit der Sprache des roten Rauches, «dem Schatten des Blutes» sprechen lassen. Nach genau sechzig Jahren seit der Abfassung der Menschenrechte ist die Unterdrückung in Tibet während eines globalen Ereignisses zum Symbol des Scheiterns und des Verrats der Weltregierungen geworden: die damals anerkannten Prinzipien wurden und werden weiterhin mehr oder weniger diplomatisch verleugnet.
Ein Licht-Protest ist ähnlich einer normalen Protestkundgebung. Es gibt aber einige große Unterschiede:
Es ist ein neues globales Medium, das die Kraft des Individuums verstärkt, um etwas zum Besseren zu verändern. Und er ist mitnichten ein rein virtueller Protest.
Es ist ein Vorbote für das Ende der Ländergrenzen, wenn es um globale Demokratie und die Möglichkeit des Einzelnen geht, über eine Idee abzustimmen.
Es zeigt jedem Einzelnen weltweit, dass er heutzutage ungeachtet von Rasse, Geschlecht, politischer Einstellung oder Religion durch eine gemeinsame Aktion mit anderen an einem bestimmten Tag die Wirklichkeit verändern kann.
Es ist eine wirksamere und effektivere Abstimmung, auf die sich Regierungschefs weltweit berufen können - Angela Merkel und Gordon Brown sind sich der öffentlichen Meinung zur Tibet Frage in ihren jeweiligen Ländern mit Sicherheit bewusst.
Es vereint Millionen Menschen weltweit in einer einfachen Handlung zu einer bestimmt Zeit für ein bestimmtes gemeinsames Ziel (wie beispielsweise earth hour oder live 8 zuvor).
Es ist non-profit und gewaltfrei.
Etwas wie Candle for Tibet gab es noch nie – jedenfalls nicht in dieser Größenordnung.
Die Botschaft ist denkbar einfach: Jeder Mensch, dem Freiheit wichtig ist, hat die Verantwortung, eine Kerze anzuzünden. Die Geste des Entzündens einer Kerze – sei es spirituell oder persönlich motiviert - kann als Akt der Stimmabgabe gesehen werden. Eine solch massive Abgabe von Stimmen, dass sie die Verantwortlichen weltweit nicht einfach ignorieren können.
Several Emails from South Africa have been forwarded to me with pictures of the apparently frozen sea at Cape Town. After doing some research which I always do before posting anything in my blog, I found out, that it's not true and that the pictures are on the web already since 28 August 2006. Some even claimed that these pictures are of the frozen Black Sea in Russia March 2007 which is more likely due to the low temperatures during winter in Russia. The temperatures in Cape Town will never drop that much bellow zero. If it does - the world has a great problem.
Thanks anyway, I must admit - the pictures are beautiful and I've never seen them before. It was very interesting to see the frozen waves - never thought that it was possible. Nice shots!

An mir wurden verschiedene Emails aus Südafrika weitergeleitet mit Bildern angeblich über das gefrorene Meer bei Kapstadt. Da ich vorher immer recherchiere, musste ich jedoch feststellen, dass die Fotos schon seit 28. August 2006 im Web zu sehen sind. Manche behaupteten sogar März 2007, es seien Fotos vom Schwarzen Meer in Russland welches eher möglich ist. Die Temperaturen in der Kap Provinz werden nie so stark unter dem Gefrierpunkt fallen! Sollte es tatsächlich passieren, hätten wir auf der Welt ein sehr großes Problem.
Danke trotzdem! Die Bilder sind wunderschön und ich muss zugeben, ich hatte sie zuvor noch nicht gesehen. Mir war auch nicht bekannt, dass die Wellen einfach so einfrieren können und fand es sehr interessant. Schöne Bilder auf allemal.

A woman, renewing her driver's license at the Motor Registration office, was asked by the counter clerk to state her occupation.
She hesitated, uncertain how to classify herself.
'What I mean is,' explained the counter clerk, 'do you have a job or are you just a ...?'
'Of course I have a job,' snapped the woman. 'I'm a Mum.'
'We don't list 'Mum' as an occupation, 'housewife' covers it,' said the clerk emphatically.
I forgot all about her story until one day I found myself in the same situation, this time at our own Medicare office. The Clerk was obviously a career woman, poised, efficient, and possessed of a high sounding title like, 'Official Interrogator' or 'Town Registrar.'
'What is your occupation?' she probed.
What made me say it? I do not know. The words simply popped out. 'I'm a Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations.'
The clerk paused, ball-point pen frozen in midair and looked up as though she had not heard right.
I repeated the title slowly emphasizing the most significant words. Then I stared with wonder as my pronouncement was written, in bold, black ink on the official questionnaire.
'Might I ask,' said the clerk with new interest, 'just what you do in your field?'
Coolly, without any trace of fluster in my voice, I heard myself reply, 'I have a continuing program of research, (what mother doesn't) In the laboratory and in the field, (normally I would have said indoors and out). I'm working for my Masters, (first the Lord and then the whole family) and already have four credits (all daughters). Of course, the job is one of the most demanding in the humanities, (any mother care to disagree?) and I often work 14 hours a day, (24 is more like it). But the job is more challenging than most run-of-the-mill careers and the rewards are more of a satisfaction rather than just money.'
There was an increasing note of respect in the clerk's voice as she completed the form, stood up, and personally ushered me to the door.
As I drove into our driveway, buoyed up by my glamorous new career, I was greeted by my lab assistants -- ages 13, 7, and 3. Upstairs I could hear our new experimental model, (a 6 month old baby) in the child development program, testing out a new vocal pattern. I felt I had scored a beat on bureaucracy! And I had gone on the official records as someone more distinguished and indispensable to mankind than 'just another Mum.'

Does this make grandmothers 'Senior Research associates in the field of Child Development and Human Relations' and great grandmothers 'Executive Senior Research Associates?' I think so!!! I also think it makes Aunts 'Associate Research Assistants.'
People's dreams are made out of what they do all day. The same way a dog that runs after rabbits will dream of rabbits. It's what you do that makes your soul, not the other way around.
A man feared his wife wasn't hearing as well as she used to and he thought she might need a hearing aid. Not quite sure how to approach her, he called the family Doctor to discuss the problem.
The Doctor told him there is a simple informal test the husband could perform to give the Doctor a better idea about her hearing loss.
Here's what you do," said the Doctor, "stand about 40 feet away from her, and in a normal conversational speaking tone see if she hears you. If not, go to 30 feet, then 20 feet, and so on until you get a response."
That evening, the wife is in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he was in the den. He says to himself, "I'm about 40 feet away, let's see what happens." Then in a normal tone he asks, 'Honey, what's for dinner?"
No response.
So the husband moves closer to the kitchen, about 30 feet from his wife and repeats, "Honey, what's for dinner?"
Still no response.
Next he moves into the dining room where he is about 20 feet from his wife and asks, "Honey, what's for dinner?"
Again he gets no response.
So, he walks up to the kitchen door, about 10 feet away. "Honey, what's for dinner?" Again there is no response.
So he walks right up behind her. "Honey, what's for dinner?"
Aint it the truth? Five surgeons from big cities are discussing who makes the best patients to operate on.
The first surgeon, from Durban, says, "I like to see accountants on my operating table because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered."
The second, from Johannesburg, responds, "Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is colour coded."
The third surgeon, from Bloemfontein, says, "No, I really think librarians are the best, everything inside them is in alphabetical order."
The fourth surgeon, from Pretoria chimes in: "You know, I like construction workers... Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over."
But the fifth surgeon, from Cape Town shut them all up when he observed:
"You're all wrong ANC Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There are no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains and no spine, and the head and the ass are interchangeable."
Wir hatten mal wieder sehr viel Spaß auf einer 72km Radtour zum Walfest in Oberhummel am Wochenende. Das Wetter spielte einigermaßen mir - ist ja auch langweilig, wenn man immer nur schönes Wetter hat *g* Energiebeladen können wir nun wieder eine anstrengende Woche antreten und werden diese auch erfolgreich meistern können.
Unsere Neulinge sind nun auch mit Gellsattel und Radlerhosen ausgestattet, dann macht es doppelt Spaß. Noch halten sie tapfer mit und sind nach jeder Radtour total begeistert. Freuen tue ich mich auf unsere Radtour zum Tollwood in München. Es wird bestimmt eine sehr schöne und lange Strecke - da wird unser Hintern trotz Gellsattel merken, dass wir geradelt sind *g*
Ich bin mir am überlegen, ob ich demnächst nicht mit dem Rad in die Arbeit fahre. Mit den hohen Benzinpreisen, lohnt es sich kaum noch mit dem Pkw in die arbeit zu fahren. Bei einer Entfernung von ca. 45km einfach, wird es verdammt teuer zudem man mit der km Pauschale vom Staat auch noch benachteiligt wird. Wenn man dabei bedenkt, dass der Benzinpreis ja auch nur so hoch ist, weil der deutsche Staat sich größtenteils daran bereichert. Statt den noch vorhandenen Arbeitnehmern zu motivieren, dass sie eine Arbeitstelle nachgehen, wird alles daran getan sie zur Arbeitslosigkeit zu zwingen. Draufzahlen, damit man seine Arbeitstelle nachgehen kann, dass will bestimmt keiner! Ich verstehe immer mehr, warum es so viele Langzeitarbeitslose in Deutschland gibt. Würde ich stempeln, hätte ich mehr zur Verfügung als wenn ich meine Arbeit nachgehe. Irgendwie ist das ganze doch Verrückt und verstehen tun es die wenigsten. Obwohl, ich glaube einige Langzeitarbeitslosen haben es sehr gut verstanden und wissen auch warum sie nicht eine Arbeit nachgehen wollen.
Man ist ja versichert auf dem Weg zur Arbeitstelle - wie sieht es da mit der Versicherung aus, wenn man mit dem Rad 90km zur und von der Arbeitstelle fährt?? Kann man sich krank melden, wenn man zu krank ist um mit dem Rad in die Arbeit zu fahren?? *g* Man kann ja mit Kopfschmerzen noch einigermaßen seine arbeit nachgehen, jedoch eine 45km Radtour zur Arbeitstelle, dann wieder 45km nach Hause und das mit Kopfschmerzen, gestaltet sich ein wenig schwierig. Statt die geringe km Pauschale vom Staat, bekommt man dann vom Staat eine Körperverschleißpremie??

Candle in My Window - for Tibet
This will be our opening ceremony for the Olympic Games. And it will begin darkness falls in India on Thursday, Aug 7th 2008.
A GLOBAL VOTE FOR FREEDOM In about 7 weeks, on the night before the Olympic flame will be lit in Beijing, at least 100 million people all over the world will light a candle for a free Tibet. That aggregate flame will be brighter and will call for freedom in Tibet and in any other place in the world. That is at least the vision of the organizers of "Candle in My Window for Tibet". They tagged this world event: "Our opening ceremony of the Olympic Games". Mr. Califa has recently volunteered to assist the organizers in carrying their message: "Take part in our Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games. Light a candle for Tibet. We will light a candle for Tibet because Tibet has become a symbol of freedom. It is a symbol that represents the natural right of any human being for self determination, freedom of thought, conscience, belief and religion. Freedom is the most important value for us working for this movement. The Olympic Games in Beijing is a unique opportunity to focus the world's attention on the annulment of those rights in Tibet and in many other places in the world. Each candle lit window is one more prayer of hope for the world to witness. This will be our opening ceremony for the Olympic Games. And it will begin darkness falls in India on Thursday, Aug 7th 2008. In this way we will ensure that our millions and millions of candles are seen and noticed throughout all the time zones of the world.
We are going to create a unique moment when so many millions who otherwise would do very little or nothing for Tibet, or any other cause, would actually do something spiritual and meaningful. And do it together. Our modest objective is to reach 100 million people.
The media, I have no doubt, will pick on the story soon, which will bring more participants, which will bring more coverage, and will raise awareness for the Tibetan Cause. It's a virtuous circle.

Blatter hat für die WM 2010 einen Plan B Rassenunruhen, Kriminalität und Probleme mit der Stromversorgung: Die Vorfreude auf die WM 2010 in Südafrika ist durch zahlreiche Probleme getrübt. Fifa-Präsident Joseph S. Blatter nimmt den Gastgeber nun in die Pflicht. Doch für den Fall der Fälle hat er einen Ersatz-Ausrichter in der Hinterhand.
Politisches Chaos, Angst vor Kriminalität und eine unzureichende Stromversorgung: Fifa-Präsident Joseph S. Blatter nimmt zwei Jahre vor Beginn der Fußball-WM 2010 in Südafrika die Regierung am Kap der guten Hoffnung in die Pflicht und hat für den Fall eines problematischen Konföderationen-Pokals 2009 bereits einen „Plan B“ in der Tasche.
„Ein Jahr würde genügen, um das Turnier in einem anderen Land zu organisieren. Ich wäre ein sehr unvorsichtiger und fahrlässiger Chef einer solchen Institution, wenn nicht in irgendeiner Schublade ein Plan B liegen würde. Ich kann es ja nicht schönreden und sagen, dass auch Plan B und Plan C Südafrika heißt. Es könnte ja auch eine Naturkatastrophe geben. Also haben wir natürlich einen Plan B“, sagte der Boss des Weltverbandes bei der Pressestunde des ORF. Bereits vor der vom Tod des Österreichers Peter Burgstaller, der beim Golfspielen von Caddys bestohlen und anschließend ermordet worden war, überschatteten Auslosung der WM-Qualifikationsgruppen in Durban im vergangenen November hatte Blatter auch Deutschland nach der hervorragend organisierten WM 2006 als Ersatzausrichter ins Gespräch gebracht. Doch der Deutsche Fußball-Bund (DFB) winkte ab, angeboten haben sich dagegen die USA, die auch aus Sponsoren-Sicht ein interessanter WM-Gastgeber wären.
Präsidentenwechsel ein Jahr vor der WM Die Generalprobe im kommenden Sommer wird damit zum alles entscheidenden Test, ob die Weltmeisterschaft 2010 tatsächlich in Südafrika stattfinden kann. Allerdings hat die politische Führung im WM-Gastgeberland derzeit ganz andere Probleme als das wichtigste Fußball-Turnier der Welt. Die anhaltenden Rassenunruhen und die Vertreibung Zehntausender Einwanderer überschatten derzeit die Vorfreude auf die erste WM auf dem schwarzen Kontinent. Nicht weniger dramatisch ist die durch die stetig wachsende Schere zwischen Arm und Reich weiter steigende Kriminalität. Sorgenfalten bereitet zudem die völlig unzureichende Stromversorgung. Auch der anstehende Präsidentenwechsel im Jahr 2009 trägt nicht zur Stabilisierung Südafrikas bei.
Wir benötigen: Eiswürfel, Nähgarn oder Wolle, Trinkglas, Holzstäbchen oder Bleistift, Schere und Kochsalz
Schritt 1. Falls wir keine kleine Eiswürfel vorrätig habe, füllen wir eine Stunde vor dem Experiment Wasser in einem Eiswürfelbehälter und stellen ihn in die Tiefkühltruhe. Dann schneiden wir etwa 20 cm vom Nähgarn oder der Wolle ab.
Schritt 2. Aus dem Bleistift und dem Nähgarn basteln wir uns jetzt eine Angel. Dazu knoten wir das Garn an einem Ende des Stifts fest. Danach lösen wir die Eiswürfel aus dem Behälter und füllen sie in ein Trinkglas.
Schritt 3. Wir legen das freie Ende der Angelschnur vorsichtig auf einen der Eiswürfel, dabei braucht man eine ruhige Hand: Jetzt streuen wir ein paar Salzkörnchen auf den Faden, der auf dem Eiswürfel liegt. Das Eis schmilzt etwas, wird aber wieder fest und friert die Schnur mit ein.
Schritt 4. Nun können wir den Eiswürfel aus dem Glas angeln. Salzwasser friert nicht so leicht wie Wasser, deshalb bringt das Salz das Eis zum Schmelzen. Mit dem Schmelzwasser schwimmt das Salz weg. Das Wasser am Eiswürfel kann jetzt wieder fest werden - auch um die Schnur herum.

Sie wollen nicht mehr farbig sein und reichen deshalb Klage ein: Jetzt hat ein Gericht die rund 10 000 Chinesen in Südafrika tatsächlich als Schwarze eingestuft. Die Einwanderer litten, wie alle Nichtweißen, während der Apartheid unter Diskriminierungen, bis die Demokraten den Rassismus 1994 zumindest offiziell abschafften - die Chinesen allerdings galten weiterhin als "farbig" und bekamen im Gegensatz zu Schwarzen, Indern und gemischtrassigen Menschen keine Entschädigung. Nach dem Grundsatzurteil bekommen auch die Chinesen ihr Geld. - uk

The ruling yesterday is the culmination of an eight-year struggle by the Chinese Association of South Africa (Casa) to obtain clarity from the Government as to the status of Chinese people since the end of white rule in 1994. Patric Chong, the chairman of Casa, said: “As Chinese South Africans we were officially classified as ‘Coloured’ and suffered under the same discriminatory laws prior to 1994. The logical inference was thus that Chinese South Africans would automatically qualify for the same benefits as the ‘Coloured’ group, post1994. This was not the case and Chinese South Africans suffered a second round of unfair discrimination.” In a landmark ruling the Pretoria High Court accepted the Chinese as a “previously disadvantaged” group. This means that – at least in legal terms – Chinese South Africans will now be included in the definition of black people in legislation covering lucrative black economic empowerment (BEE) deals. Why the hell, didn't they suspend him from the African Union summit??? In Nairobi, Raila Odinga, the Kenyan Prime Minister, called on the union to eject Mr Mugabe from the summit. He said: “He should be suspended until he allows the African Union to facilitate free and fair elections.” The African Union’s own observers in Harare said the vote “fell short” of the organisation’s standards.
Bush also wants the UN Security Council to impose an arms embargo on Zimbabwe as well as travel bans on Zimbabwe government officials. Don't just talk - DO IT!
